Trauma-Informed Pediatric Practice – Webinar
February 24 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am MST
All individuals working with pediatrics benefit greatly by being trauma informed. Statistically, children living with both primary and secondary trauma will have difficulty meeting their developmental milestones at the same rate as their peers. This course will provide clinicians with a better understanding of trauma of both children and their families. Participants will be able to return to their clinic, school, or early intervention program with strategies to support the functional goals of their clients, students, and families who are living with and through traumatic events.
- Provide evidence-based strategies to support the functional goals of clients and their families who have experienced trauma
- Integrate learning to your PT/OT/SLP practice through case examples
