Treatment of Elbow Dysfunction and Injuries – Webinar

With elbow injury and dysfunctions increasing through leisure and occupational injury incidents, there is a significant public health concern related to these conditions. Although typically associated with sports injury elbow dysfunction is common due to high repetition occupational tasks and activities dependent on repetitive fine motor functions (Lenioretal, 2019). This course will bridge the most up to date treatment strategies and recommendations emerging from research with next day application for immediate use in clinical settings. Moreover, through the application of effective and current treatment recommendations you will be better equipped to address your patients’ functional deficits, document progress, and develop post-rehabilitation plans for carry over to reduce the commonly experienced reoccurring nature of elbow dysfunctions.

This course will provide attendees with current and evidence-based treatment strategies for a variety of elbow injuries. Following this course, practitioners will be able to utilize treatment techniques next day in the clinic to enhance outcomes and return to function for their clients. Through a variety of live demo, videography, and case study examples attendees will develop the knowledge and skills to apply treatment techniques presented. As attendees return to their clinical settings, they will be able to apply treatment and outcome measurement techniques to promote both functional gains and post-discharge carry-over for their clients with elbow dysfunction.
