Manual Therapy for the Elbow and Wrist – Webinar
August 13 @ 1:00 pm - 4:15 pm MST
Athletes and non-athletes are frequently affected by elbow and wrist injuries. These injuries often occur from overuse/micro-trauma or macro-traumatic injury. The structures involved with injuries in this region can include joints, tendon, nerve, or combinations of different tissues. Identifying and directing interventions at a specific structure presents a significant challenge for clinicians. This course will teach participants to make appropriate plan of care decisions based on a comprehensive examination process designed to identify a specific structural cause of pain and dysfunction. Clinicians can improve productivity and reimbursement by maximizing the efficient use of time during the patient’s initial evaluation.
This course will provide a case-based approach to examination of patients with elbow and wrist pain and dysfunction. Manual therapy techniques will be presented through video demonstration and clear, concise illustrated hand-out materials. Clinicians with all levels of experience and expertise will be able to effectively manage patients with elbow and wrist pain and dysfunction using hands-on manual therapy.
