During this in-person learning experience you will be introduced you to our comprehensive, easy-to-use Handwriting Without Tears® print curriculum, which uses engaging multisensory techniques and research-based methods to make handwriting a natural and automatic skill for children at a transitional kindergarten through second-grade ability level. Learn about the developmental teaching order, explore grip, understand the benefit of using double lines for instruction and practice, and learn how to integrate our digital tools into your daily instruction.

Learning Outcomes
- Identify the 3 steps of explicit handwriting instruction that can be applied when teaching or remediating letters, words, and sentences..
- Select effective hands-on, multisensory activities to teach handwriting skills including grip, position concepts, alphabet knowledge, letter formation, and sentence skills.
- Choose 2 strategies that can be used to help children generalize handwriting skills across all subjects.
- Locate progress monitoring and differentiated instructional supports within print and digital educator resources.
