Evaluation and Treatment for Cervical Spine, Headaches, and Whiplash is a course to improve your range of manual therapy applications. Manual therapy has been shown to be effective in the management of multiple spinal disorders in our profession, especially in conjunction with therapeutic exercise. This course is designed to enhance manual therapy skills, confidence in performing manual therapy techniques, and better patient outcomes. Having uniformity of manual therapy and comfort with manual the rapytechniques in our profession is a fundamental skill.
In this 3-hour, lab-intensive course, mobilization, and manipulation techniques from the upper cervical spine to upper thoracic. Whether participants are unfamiliar with more advanced mobilization and manipulation techniques or simply seeking to sharpen their skills, this course will be useful in a high percentage of a physical therapist’s outpatient caseload. The course allows for a significant amount of lab time in which participants will get frequent feedback in a relaxed setting to become proficient with manual therapy techniques.The course allows time and education on proper cervical evaluation, treatment techniques and philosophies to help patients with acute neck pain, headaches, whiplash/WAD,cervical radiculopathy, and chronic neck pain.
