This introductory course is designed to support occupational therapy practitioners in developing their role as fieldwork educators. This course highlights the educator component of the OT/OTA role, explores how occupational therapy beliefs, values, and principles align with key teaching and learning theories, and provides practical strategies to enhance student learning and clinical reasoning within practice settings. Participants will leave with tools to foster effective, student-centered fieldwork experiences that prepare the next generation of occupational therapy practitioners.

| 60-80 Minutes | Discussion of Teaching and Learning Frameworks and Connection to Adult Learning Principles and the OT Process |
| 80-90 Minutes | Discussion of specific clinical teaching strategies for the FWed to guide student learning and clinical reasoning; Summary; Q&A |
