PT TREATMENT OF ANKLE STABILITY AND MOVEMENT COORDINATION IMPAIRMENTS-LIGAMENT STRAINS

This webinar will present information from the Ankle Stability and Movement Coordination Impairments-Ligament Sprains Clinical Practice Guidelines.Specifically this course will present recommendations for latest evidence–based practice relating to identifying risk factors, diagnosing and classifying injury, differential diagnosis process, examination procedures, and selecting interventions for those with lateral ankle sprains.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Integrate evidence-based physical therapy practice relating to the diagnosis, prognosis, intervention, and assessment of outcome for individuals with lateral ankle sprains
- Classify and define lateral ankle sprains using the World Health Organization’s terminology related to impairments of body function and body structure, activity limitations, and participation restrictions
- Choose interventions supported by current best evidence to address impairments of body function and structure, activity limitations, and participation restrictions associated with lateral ankle sprains
