SUMMARY:Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Holistic Stuttering Therapy
DESCRIPTION:People who stutter (PWS) commonly experience social anxiety and develop avoidance behaviors related to speaking situations. Traditional fluency-enhancement techniques may be less effective when state anxiety interferes with communication. This course explores the integration of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)\, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)\, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies to support communication confidence and functional speaking outcomes. The course provides participants with conversational reframing techniques and therapeutic patterns designed to reduce anxiety and support goal achievement. Tim will share practical examples demonstrating how NLP- and CBT-informed approaches can help PWS improve participation and communication success.
