SUMMARY:Ethics for School Social Workers - Live Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Register today and learn how to: \n\nUse a streamlined roadmap for fast ethical triage\nApply templates that strengthen practice and reduce risk\nUse practical tools to stay ethical and keep a good relationship with clients\nBuild sharper\, more confident ethical reasoning\n\n  \nSchool social workers operate at the fault line of care and compliance. You’re guarding confidentiality while fielding parent demands\, principal directives\, FERPA/HIPAA tangles\, dual-role pressures with staff\, and “gray zone” safety concerns – often with little time and high legal exposure. But knowing the ethical principles and knowing exactly what to do when a parent is yelling\, a principal is pressuring you\, and a student’s safety hangs in the balance\, those are not the same thing. And one mistake can break trust\, trigger complaints\, or put a student at risk. \nThat’s why this one-day training is a must\, giving you a roadmap that turns ethical complexity into clear\, confident action – even under pressure. \nYou’ll join Dr. Glenda Bailey Hayden and Anjalon Wimbush\, LMSW\, both seasoned school social workers\, with decades of experience. They will clarify exactly what you’re up against and provide the practical tools needed to help you navigate these ethical principles. \nThrough rapid\, case-based learning\, you’ll translate the NASW Code of Ethics into a clear\, real-world decision framework you can use tomorrow. We’ll tackle the toughest school dilemmas – confidentiality\, boundaries\, documentation and more – and give you the tips and guidance you need to know you’re handling each situation correctly. \nYou’ll leave with: \n\nAn updated stepwise ethical triage you can apply quickly\nModernized documentation templates that protect clients – and your license\nHands-on strategies that honor ethics without burning bridges\nReal-world exercises that enhance your ethical reasoning skills\n\nDon’t wait until you’re facing an ethical crisis to wish you had this training. \nRegister now!

SUMMARY:#7326 The Pediatric Brain Part 4: Primitive Reflex Integration - Live Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Primitive reflexes are assessed when a child is born to ensure they are present. Yet\, they are then often dismissed\, underestimating the role they play in the continued development and success of the child. However\, many children continue to have retained primitive reflexes which interfere with various aspects of their development. The term Primitive Reflex Integration is being used in a variety of fields with various approaches to treatment. These approaches often present the treatment of each primitive reflex as individual movement patterns separate from each other. This  course provides therapists with a roadmap to evaluating and treating 8-11 primitive reflexes\, with the understanding that they are linked and build upon each other. It utilizes a functional and play-based approach to allow physical and occupational therapists to integrate this new knowledge immediately into their practice. \n  \nInstructor: Janine Wiskind\, MS\, OTR/L
