SUMMARY:Dynamic Assessment in Autism - Webinar
DESCRIPTION:This course will provide strategies for shifting away from a “one-size-fits-all” approach to evaluation. As clinicians\, we must work toward creating neuroaffirming plans for students with autism that respect diverse communication methods and build on the inherent strengths. Participants will examine dynamic assessment strategies\, tools for observing communication skills in the natural environment and strength-based approaches. In doing this\, clinicians will maximize assessment effectiveness and be able to create treatment plans that can more effectively address each individual’s unique needs. \nThe content of this program is germane to children\, students and clients ages birth-18 years old. \nHighlights\n\nBroaden your scope of practice by including effective\,non-standardized\, dynamic assessment techniques into your evaluation procedures.\nLearn practical strategies for identifying how children learn\, and build upon their strengths in order to maximize learning potential.
