To effectively assess a child’s lower extremity alignment & gait\, thorough knowledge of age appropriate foot development is necessary. This course provides a review of ideal boney architecture and presents a greater understanding of ideal foot position & function\, while discussing optimum muscle activity. Science & research findings are described from a clinical perspective. Age specific values & assessment procedures are presented\, together with proposed reasons to intervene and suggested methods of intervention.
