DESCRIPTION:Dear Educators\, \n  \nADE is excited to offer the 3rd Annual School Counselors’ Institute June 5–6 at the JW Marriott Starr Pass. This conference will be two full days of training specific for School Counselors provided by the experts at The American School Counseling Association (ASCA). The purpose of the School Counselors’ Institute is to provide School Counselors with the knowledge and understanding of the four components of the ASCA National Model: Define\, Manage\, Deliver\, and Assess\, as well as tools related to specific topics. Registration is limited to 200 participants; Rooms will fill up fast\, please register and book your hotel room ASAP. \n  \nThe School Counselors’ Institute will offer two full days of training including: \n  \nJune 5: Model Day (pick from the following full-day workshops) \n\nSession 1: School Counseling Program Assessment How-Tos\nSession 2: Get Started With the ASCA National Model\nSession 3: Data-Informed School Counseling\n\n  \nJune 6: Breakout Sessions (pick two from the following half-day sessions) \n\nSession 1: School Counseling Classroom and Group Lesson Development\nSession 2: Career Development and Postsecondary Readiness (K–12)\nSession 3: Trauma and Crisis Management\n\n  \nTarget Audience: School Counselors\, Social Workers\, Interventionists\, and School and District Leadership \n  \nHotel Information: JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa will be offering a limited number of hotel rooms until May 4th at the prevailing State rate\, currently $104 per night plus resort fee. ADE will complete the verification process within 10 days. Once the verification process is complete\, you will receive another email stating your registration is “confirmed.” The confirmation email secures your spot for the conference. \nPlease ensure an accurate email address when registering. Emails are used to communicate conference information. \n  \nPayment Information: Acceptable methods of payment are purchase order (PO)\, credit card or check. If paying with a PO or check\, an electronic copy is required during the registration process. If paying with a credit card\, either Visa or Mastercard (not American Express) is accepted. Additionally\, she holds a Master of Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She has a 500-hour therapeutic yoga certification from an ashram and various therapeutic art and life-story coaching certifications. \nHer research has been presented and published over a dozen times in journals and at universities\, national and international conferences\, and the United Nations’ German consulate.
